GENERAL INFORMATION
The Basic Oncology Association (TEOD) was established in 2017, İzmir to provide and conduct the development of scientists who work in the field of basic oncology and contribute to basic oncology education and to encourage cancer research and researchers in our country by creating national policies by gathering under a professional and social roof.
The Association which aims to carry out studies on transferring the concept and field of basic oncology to espeacially young scientists, works for increasing awareness and interest in the basic oncology,with organizing the scientific activities in the relevant fields, at the same time, to ensure the progress of basic/molecular oncology science in our country, also to improve basic oncology education. The Association accepts the membership of students which graduated from molecular oncology, clinical oncology, molecular biology, biotechnology, molecular medicine, bioinformatics and also other researchers including basic oncologists living in foreign countries as long as they are Turkish citizens.
